Let's talk about TOFU

It was really nice to cook good food especially if you are cooking for your loved ones .:) well, at least you know that they will not hurt your feelings if you fail with the dish haha. They will tell it nicely, like "mi, the tofu is overcooked" "the sauce is yummy though" :)) - the comment of my boyfriend when I cooked tofu steak.

After my check-up (remember I got sore eyes?), Dadi (my term of endearment for Yuri) and I passed by a very small restaurant..

A japanese restaurant near Molino Doctors Hospital. We have not eaten our dinner yet and so we decided to try the food in Ume-ya.

It was nice and  the one dish that we can't forget was the TOFU STEAK.

It was really yummy and the sauce has a bit of peanut taste in it. I really think it has peanut butter. :)

The day after that, I searched for the recipe and found out that there's really peanut butter, whoaah I felt like I was Mao, the cooking master boy. Haha

Then I tried to cook :) 

Tofu used here was the local tofu that only cost 20 pesos. The texture was not really nice so please make sure to use the chinese tofu instead. It costs 120 for 500 grams.
